*Smart Manufacturing Workshop at Govt. Polytechnic, Angul*The Department of Mechanical Engineering at Govt. Polytechnic, Angul, is organizing a 3-day workshop on “Smart Manufacturing” from November 25 to November 27, 2025.
The workshop is being held under the aegis of AICTE-VAANI 2025-26 and aims to bridge the gap between academia and industry by discussing emerging trends and industrial practices in regional languages.

The workshop will provide a platform for participants to gain an enhanced understanding of smart manufacturing principles and key concepts of Industry 4.0. It is expected to motivate participants towards research and innovation in areas of industrial automation.
The workshop is being convened and coordinated by Mrs. Monalisha Behera, Sr. Lecturer in Mech, and Mrs. Subhangee Meeh, Lecturer in Mech, under the guidance of Shri Laxmikanta Nayak, Principal of Govt. Polytechnic, Angul.The event will feature bilingual sessions in English and Odia, ensuring that participants from diverse backgrounds can benefit from the discussions.
